The London-based Ortus Piano Trio has performed at venues including Conway Hall, Steinway Hall, St Mary le Strand, and the Chelsea Arts Club, and has toured in Antwerp, Belgium. Their repertoire includes core piano trio works, with particular attention to French music alongside nineteenth-century repertoire. The trio has recorded at the Royal College of Music in London, and their performance of Fauré’s Piano Trio for the composer’s centenary was praised by musicologist Caroline Potter for highlighting the work’s subtlety.
Regularly performing with top UK orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra, violinist Daniel Pukach is a founding member of the Waldstein Quartet and has served as a junior fellow at Trinity Laban. Cellist, Lucy Gijsbers graduated with an Artist Diploma from the Royal College of Music, where she was an RCM Scholar under the guidance of Thomas Carroll. She performs with prestigious orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Young Steinway Artist, Tal Walker studied piano at the École Normale de Musique de Paris and is currently pursuing his PhD at the Royal College of Music. His career includes performances with orchestras, invitations to artist residencies internationally, and the release of his acclaimed debut album.
